IMMORTALITY is an immersive trilogy by Sam Barlow, creator of Her Story. Use the cinematic ability to teleport from scene to location to find a treasure trove of newly unearthed footage of the three films of Marissa Marcel and traverse decades of movie history:

1968

Alan Fischer directs Ambrosio his adaptation of M. G. Lewis’s infamous Gothic novel The Monk. He casts unknown Marissa Marcel as the infamous Matilda.

1970

John Durick writes his thriller Minsky with Marcel as a subject. The film is set in New York City, the movie concerns the death of a well-known artist. Marissa stars as the muse suspect of killing him.

1999

Marcel and Durick are back together to celebrate Marcel’s final performance after an extended absence. The movie Two of Everything is a subversive, satirical thriller that examines the conflict between a successful music star and her body counterpart.

They never came out. The films were thought to be lost or destroyed. Until now.
